I am Stefan Badu from Timisoara, Romania. I work as a Software Expert in the automotive domain at HUF Romania. I have just completed the AI for Leaders program. I am an engineer, and throughout my journey, I have built a strong educational foundation. I did my Bachelor’s Degree in Automation and Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. I also did a Master’s Degree in Modern Production Management from the West University of Timisoara. I am glad that now I can add the Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence for Leaders from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas to my academic background. I also have 20+ years of professional experience across several companies, where I have held roles such as Software Developer, Business Process Analyst, Business System Analyst, Project Manager, and Team Leader. As someone who is always learning new skills, AI has become a “must-have” in today’s world. The learning experience was fast-paced, with a lot of content and many new concepts for me. At times, I felt overwhelmed, but I truly enjoyed the journey. Online, self-paced courses with a mix of theory and projects are, in my opinion, the future of education. The graded quizzes helped create structure, setting deadlines, encouraging recap, prioritization, and steady progress. After almost half a year, I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface of AI. This experience opened a door for me, or better said, it opened my “third eye”: the AI eye. The program helped me gain a strong understanding of the core concepts behind AI. My experience with KNIME was especially valuable. Seeing concepts in action made a big difference for me. I have started using generative AI tools in my day-to-day work. I use them to improve the quality of my tasks and to explore different perspectives. I understand this is part of the learning curve, and it takes time. I am confident that all this effort will have a meaningful impact on whatever I choose to do next.
